The Venetian chandelier is best associated with Muranese Techniques - even today the unbeatable added value comes from traditional craftsmanship which made Murano world renown for centuries for its blown glass. This Venetian noble tradition of working the glass is still carried out by AVMazzega, which has brought back and interpreted the Murano Heritage, inviting international designers such as Nigel Coates (Professor of Architecture at the RCA) and Christopher Pillet. The result is a remarkable revival of blown glass lamps, which combine tradition with spontaneity.
The skilled team working at AVMazzega can - thanks to its master glassworkers - blow and work the glass respecting the rules and traditions of the Murano heritage. We love to work on modifications to existing lamps and made-to-measure solutions. We take pride in staying constantly in tune with the customer's imagination to personalise any contract request; be it for Hotels, Restaurants, Cruise Ships, Airports, Museums and Waiting Areas where the combination of design and quality is paramount.
